About the role
Supervising housekeeping and laundry assistants, you will be responsible for managing staff rotas, training and stock replenishment of housekeeping and domestic items
You will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness within our home, working closely with the maintenance team and Home Manager to ensure every room is well looked after
Key duties include vacuuming, mopping, polishing and general up-keep of all communal areas and our residents' bedrooms
In this role, you will be expected to work independently, prioritising and delegating tasks amongst your team where necessary.

With an approachable and caring nature, you will enjoy getting to know each of our residents. You will have strong communication skills and experience in a housekeeping role, you will be confident in leading and motivating a team to deliver the best service.

About the Home
Located halfway between Northampton and Peterborough, Acacia Lodge was originally a large private house that has been converted and extended.
We welcome residents for short or long-term stays, depending on their individual requirements. Our 24-hour assistance and support means that we're able to provide expert care in a wide range of areas, including younger people with physical disabilities.
Surrounding the home itself are our beautiful gardens, which also include a large furnished patio area for residents to enjoy in the warmer months, and a sensory garden to provide a stimulating environment all-year round.
