SCP have been selected by a national care home provider to recruit a Deputy Manager for their care home in Aberdeen. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the manager with the general running of the home while also applying your clinical skills on the floor when required. You will also have the opportunity to step into the management role in the absence of the manager. This will grant you valuable experience in the progression of your career.
The Care Home is regarded as one of the top homes in the area. With lots of great feedback from families, residents and staff. This is due to the person-centred approach and the relaxed atmosphere applied by the management, nurses and the carers. The home has a committed nursing team who are always supportive of the management and always have the best interests of the residents at heart.
Some Key Attributes for the Ideal Candidate includes:
An Active NMC registration and Pin number
Experience in deputising and taking on senior roles.
A genuine interest in working and caring for the elderly.
A drive to succeed and help improve the nursing home in all areas
A clear understanding of the NMC and Care Inspectorate guidelines
